Description

As a single vineyard wine, Eastside is an excellent showcase for the unique style of Shiraz grown from our Polish Hill River Estate. The ‘Eastside’ is delicious to drink upon release and will reward cellaring for next 7-15 years.

Aroma:

Complex and inviting. A mix of black cherry, brambly red fruits, mulberry and blueberry. Aromatic spices develop with time in the glass.

Palate:

The mix of red, blue and black fruits are hallmark Eastside. Presenting plush and juicy on the mid palate, the acid structure elevating the red fruit. It ‘rolls’ over the palate seamlessly from front to back. Careful selection of oak provides a fine grained, savoury tannin structure that merges with the bright acid core to create a long, balanced finish.
